1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Meeva's scheduling platform and API services at meeva.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including developers, businesses, and individuals who book appointments through the Service.

2. Description of Service

Meeva provides a scheduling API and platform that enables developers and businesses to embed booking functionality into their applications. Our Service includes:

  • Event type management and scheduling APIs
  • Availability rules and calendar synchronization
  • Embeddable booking widgets
  • Webhook integrations
  • Team scheduling features
  • Administrative dashboard

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Distribute malware or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

5. API Usage

If you use our API, you also agree to:

  • Comply with our API documentation and rate limits
  • Secure your API keys and not share them publicly

  • Not resell API access without authorization

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access for violations of these terms or excessive usage.

6. Subscription and Payment

Free Plan: Basic features are available at no cost with usage limitations.

Paid Plans: Premium features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees according to your chosen plan
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Authorize automatic recurring charges
  • Review and accept any price changes with 30 days notice

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy.

7. Free Trial

We may offer free trials for paid plans. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You may cancel your trial at any time through your account settings.

8. Intellectual Property

Our IP: The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Meeva and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host, display, and process your content to provide the Service.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MISSED APPOINTMENTS OR SCHEDULING CONFLICTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEEVA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Meeva harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of others.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms or other reasons at our discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Some provisions of these Terms will survive termination.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
