Event Types
Event types are the core building blocks of your scheduling system. They define what meetings can be booked, how long they last, and where they take place.
Creating an Event Type
Navigate to Event Types in your dashboard and click "New Event Type". Configure these basic settings:
| Setting | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Name displayed to attendees | 30 Minute Meeting |
| URL Slug | Unique identifier in booking link | /30min |
| Description | Details about the meeting | Quick sync call |
| Duration | How long the meeting lasts | 30 minutes |

Buffers
Avoid back-to-back meetings with buffer times:
- Before Event: Time blocked before meeting starts
- After Event: Time blocked after meeting ends
Minimum Notice
Prevent last-minute bookings by requiring advance notice:
- •24 hours: No same-day bookings
- •4 hours: Flexibility for urgent meetings
📅 Booking Window
Limit how far in advance people can book. A common setting is 60 rolling days, meaning people can book any time in the next two months.
